Michael photographs professionally throughout the region. His methods are heavily influenced by classic photographers such as Edward Weston, Bill Brandt and Edward Steichen, with imagery used extensively for theatrical head shots, modeling portfolios, theatrical promotion, executive portraiture, book jackets, and CD covers. His work has regularly appeared in publications such as The Washington Post Magazine, MPT, The Guardian, The Baltimore Sun, Dirty Linen, and the City Paper.  He has received numerous awards and fine-art grants, with personal work included in major galleries as well as private collections.
